alive raw

living foods,alternative health

I am new to raw and bought some great books that I have been reading. Got my dehydrator, food processer and juicer. I really feel great with the decision to change my life for the better.
One area I am confused about is adding some supplements. I was looking at the Hippocrates Institure site and liked the LifeGive products but am at loss for what a person needs. I feel there are so many green powders, seaweed powders ect. out there. Going to the health food store in my area is a joke because the people working there do not know anything about the products (they don't even look like they use them).
So if anyone has some hints on what works for them, what one might need or no need I would really appreciate it.
Thanks so much.

If you buy any supplements, make sure they are whole food supplements. Otherwise you will be doing your body harm. Hippocrates sells whole food supplements.

You could do a spectra cell test to see if you have any deficiencies in vitamins, etc. Then you can determine what supplements you need. Cost is about $500. http://www.spectracell.com/faq/

Generally people eating raw should minimally have:
B12 (Ocean Energy)
Green/Blue-Green algaes (E3Live or Lifegive body + Chlorella)
Enzymes (digestive and systemic)

Hope this helps.
