Hippocrates is exhorbitant and raw gourmet where the other retreats are not gourmet and less expensive with good education. Do a search for raw food retreats and you should find alot of options. I myself help others on a mind, body, spirit journey to health which includes properly converting to a raw foods lifestyle change or in the least, a detox cleanse. One step at a time! Thanks for finding the Meetup at Lawrence Kansas for Raw Food folks. Yes I am familiar with it and I am a member. Only been a member for about a week..ha!...but I am ready for the next meting. I found a really nice lady that was a member and we metup at the Farmers Market in Lawrence yesterday and she gave me some really great tips on eating Raw...so I am getting a good start.

I am find it very hard to know what I can eat and what I shouldn't eat at this point. Went to the grocery store this morning and seems like the only thing fit to eat and not full of sugar is the cardboard boxes the food comes in. I am anxious to get some of the books I have ordered and make my way to Hippocrates....hopefully next month.

I was down in West Palm Beach at Hippocrates last December and had the most amazing experience. I was so inspired that I started envisioning my own Raw Food Retreat Center right up the Hudson River in NY near where I live. And six months later it has become a reality.
